Congratulations
Newlyweds Alvina and Tim.
My friend Alvina got married in Mill Valley outside of SF. Her favorite color was orange so the theme used citrus colors. Love that bouquet. And that smile. (:

Jurassic Park
Red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting from Chiffono's.
A small bakery in Fresno always brings me good memories and inspirations. And can't forget the owner who looks like the guy from Jurassic Park who gets eaten by a velociraptor.

Face Block
A group of friends outside Schoenberg Music Hall.
Our friend plays for the UCLA orchestra and we try to support him by attending his concerts. From the picture you can tell he is very appreciative...

As Usual
My laptop and its owner in her natural state.
A typical weekday night means messy hair and oversized sweater. Awesome. (:

One for the Road
Stephanie and I at ICA Banquet.
She's been my discipler/mentor for 2-3 years and now she's doing long-term missions work in Asia. Remind me to pray for her (:

Six Degrees
Far East Movement at Ackerman Grand Ballroom.
Mr. Dino's cousin is a rapper. He and his group is pretty ridiculous. But catchy. Since the group is based in LA we try to catch some of his shows when we can. This one was at UCLA for free. I saw a couple familiar faces... plus a bunch of white boys rapping every word of the songs. Hilarious.

In Process
Pencil drawing of Leona Lewis.
I worked on the drawing some more but I'm getting discouraged because of my lack of skill. Hopefully I get better...?

New Home
Plant from Cal Poly SLO Open House.
I got this free plant to see if I could grow it to its full potential but I don't really know what it is so I can't tell if this is how tall it'll get. It started in a little styrofoam coffee cup but I had to re-pot it because the roots were getting crazy.

Stuck On You
Personal collection of stickers.
When I was a kid I had this wimpy collection of stickers. My friends and I would trade or show eachother our collections and I always envied the other girls' stickers. I even tried making my own (using those blank sticker name tags and markers!). Now that I'm older and I can buy those stickers I've always wanted my collection is quite... cute (: I decided that I'm going to put them in an album and attempt to organize them. Then I can share duplicates with people (:

Cherry Tomato
Red drums at UCLA China Ensemble Concert. I had to attend the concert for a class. I couldn't keep my eyes off the redness of the drums.
Spring Portraits

The residents of apartment 205 at Spring Sing. I posted up the "blooper" shot because I thought it reflected us better.
Unending Surprise
A few of us surprised one of my apartment mates (aparties?) for her birthday. Then another group surprised her the next day. The next day she was surprised again by people who couldn't make the first surprise... party everyday?
Makeshift Grill
I randomly stumbled upon a recipe for yakitori and decided to try it out. Not bad considered I don't have a grill at my apartment. (:
Return of the Big Screen

Back to LA means back to the big screen and video games. I guess trying to study here isn't an option either...
The Second Time Around

Study cards for a midterm on Tuesday. Going home for the weekend before a midterm is not a good idea...
A Different Route

Mr. Dino and I drove home to Fresno Friday night but took a different route than we regularly do. There are tunnels on the 5!
Deja Vu

We went to watch Iron Man 2 at its midnight showing with a bunch of people from ICA. It was very nostalgic. Contact.
12 Bar Blues
I tried these random rice balls from the Nijiya market. They were so cute...the taste was...interesting.
The Guy From CSI

Went out to a cute place called Lemonade with apartmentmate. I think I love blueberry mint lemonade now.
Stigma
P introduced these kids to the craziness that is Trauma Center. Everyone who plays that game seems to have the same face expression...
